Monday of Masters Week | FarmLinks Golf Club at Pursell Farms. Spend the Monday of Masters Week experiencing championship golf conditions while supporting a powerful cause. The Pastures Tournament at FarmLinks brings together passionate golfers for a one-of-a-kind Masters week event at FarmLinks Golf Club — Alabama’s #1 All-Access Golf Course since 2013. Hosted by the Pursell Family, this special day of golf supports Breakthrough T1D, the leading global organization dedicated to funding research to cure, prevent, and treat Type 1 Diabetes. Participants will enjoy an unforgettable day at Pursell Farms featuring lightning-fast greens, tournament conditions, friendly competition, and a creative Masters-inspired format unlike any other event.

Pricing

$500 Per Player

A portion of every entry will go to support Breakthrough T1D.

The Tournament

This 18-hole individual stroke-play tournament will be played under true championship conditions. Players will compete in flighted divisions using their full GHIN handicap, playing from the tees associated with their established handicap. To create a Masters-inspired challenge, our grounds team will condition the course to reflect the playing atmosphere of Augusta National, including:

• Sunday-style pin placements on select holes
• Fast rolling greens
• Flighted competition based on GHIN handicap
• Players competing from their established handicap tees
• True stroke-play format with all putts holed

Our goal is simple: to create Masters-level challenge and excitement at FarmLinks.

The Masters Challenge

Every participant will also compete in a special Masters-inspired bonus game. On the morning of the tournament, each player will select one professional golfer competing in the Masters Tournament at Augusta National.

• The Thursday–Saturday Masters scores from your selected player count normally.
• Your net score at FarmLinks on Monday becomes that player's Sunday Masters round.

Whoever produces the lowest four-round Masters score wins the Grand Prize.

The Cause

This event holds special meaning for the Pursell Family. Beginning with Pursell Farms co-founder David Pursell, three generations of the family now live with Type 1 Diabetes, including:

• David Pursell
• Chrissy Pursell Adolf
• Martin Pursell
• Parker Pursell
• David Adolf (age 4)
• Hannah Ruth (9 months)

Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disease that currently has no cure. All proceeds from the Pastures Tournament support Breakthrough T1D, whose sole mission is to accelerate the search for a cure. Chrissy Pursell Adolf and her sister Ramsey will also be running the Boston Marathon this April to help raise awareness and funding for the cause.
