Hiking
Enjoy the scenic foothills of the Appalachian Mountains! Pursell Farms resides on the lower extremity of the piedmont which is series of outlying mountain ranges, sometimes called “low mountains”. Sulphur Mountain and Chalybeate Mountain are located in the center of our 3,200 acre property and are excellent for hiking and exploring. While the farm does not have a formal hiking trail to follow there are miles of logging roads and paths weaving through the wooded terrain. Be on the look out for our UTV Mountain drivers if you are on a hike! We hope that you will enjoy the picturesque countryside while you are here!

Experience The Farm with a relaxing cruise around property in an E-Z-GO golf cart. Check-out at The Inn on a first come, first serve basis.
$40 per cart for 2 hours.
*Guests staying in our cabins and cottages still have complimentary golf carts included in your accommodations.

Cruise around the property effortlessly with our electric bikes, reaching speeds up to 20 mph. Available on a first-come, first-serve basis at The Inn.
$25 per bike, per hour.
Pedal across moderate terrain on our bike paths, taking in sights from Jimmy’s lake to mountain views. A great way to stay in shape while enjoying The Farm.
